Qrrier Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 29, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Qrrier ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Qrrier website and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Qrrier is operated by QRS GLOBAL LTD CO., a company with its principal business address at 5 Concourse Parkway, Ste 3000, Atlanta, GA 30328. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number, password, and profile photo.
  • Identity verification (optional): when you choose to verify your identity, we collect a government-issued identification document (e.g., passport, driver's license, or national ID), the document's issuing country and type, and the photo or PDF image of the document.
  • Listing and trip data: origin, destination, dates, item descriptions, photos, dimensions, and weight.
  • Payment data: billing details processed by our third-party payment and on-ramp providers, and information needed to support escrow transactions, refunds, and dispute handling.
  • Cryptocurrency wallet information: wallet addresses, preferred blockchain networks, payout preferences, supported digital assets, and related account information you provide for payouts and escrow participation.
  • Delivery codes: 4-digit delivery verification codes (PINs) tied to individual shipments. Senders receive these codes at the time of payment and must share them only with the intended Recipient.
  • Communications: messages exchanged on the Platform, support requests, and feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, language, time zone, pages viewed, and interactions with the Platform.
  • Location data: Qrrier does not collect your live device or browser location (GPS) and does not request browser geolocation. The only location information we hold is the origin and destination cities/countries you type into your shipments and trips.
  • Delivery-code attempt data: failed delivery-code entry counts and lockout timestamps associated with shipment delivery attempts, used for fraud prevention and account security.
  • Wallet and on-chain data: when you connect a self-custodial wallet (for example via WalletConnect or Reown AppKit), we receive your public wallet address and may observe public on-chain activity associated with that address. Public blockchain data is, by its nature, permanent, public, and outside Qrrier's control.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use essential cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies and session-recording technologies (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity). See Section 2.4 and our Cookie Policy for details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from identity-verification providers, payment and on-ramp processors, fraud-prevention services, blockchain infrastructure and routing providers, wallet-connection providers, and social sign-in providers (such as Google) when you choose to use them.

2.4 Analytics, Session Recordings, and Heatmaps

When you accept analytics cookies, Qrrier uses the following third-party services to understand how the Platform is used and improve the product:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): provided by Google LLC. Collects anonymized device and usage data, page views, route changes, and marketplace conversion events (for example: sign-up started, sign-up completed, login, shipment posted, trip posted, offer sent, offer accepted, payment started, payment completed, delivery code entered, delivery completed, wallet connected, identity verification submitted, and dispute opened). IP addresses are anonymized and we use Google's Consent Mode v2 so tags default to denied until you opt in.
  • Microsoft Clarity: provided by Microsoft Corporation. Captures aggregated usage data and anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. Recordings are reconstructed playbacks of mouse, scroll, click, and navigation behavior — they are not video of your camera or screen. We configure Clarity to mask or exclude sensitive content by default, including government-issued ID documents, identity-verification uploads, delivery verification codes (PINs), wallet addresses, payment and card information, in-app chat and message content, profile fields containing personal information (name, email, phone), and password and recovery inputs.

The legal basis for these analytics and session-recording technologies in jurisdictions that require consent (such as the EU/EEA and UK) is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the Cookie Policy page.

2.5 Mobile App Permissions and SDKs

When you use the Qrrier mobile app (iOS and Android), the app may request operating-system permissions and integrate native SDKs. You are asked to grant permissions at the time they are needed, and you can change them at any time in your device settings.

  • Photos / Files: required only when you upload a profile photo or an identification document. Qrrier does not access your camera roll in the background.
  • Location: Qrrier does not request device location permissions and does not collect your live GPS location. Origin and destination are the cities/countries you type into your shipments and trips.
  • Notifications: used to deliver transactional alerts about offers, payments, delivery codes, and disputes.
  • Network state: used to detect connectivity for payment and on-chain operations.

The Qrrier mobile app is built with Expo (Expo Application Services) and integrates third-party SDKs including Reown AppKit and WalletConnect (wallet connection), Meld (fiat on-ramp inside an external browser), Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple (authentication), and our backend infrastructure provider for authentication, database, and storage. Qrrier does not embed advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs that perform on-device fingerprinting. The mobile app does not request the iOS App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2.6 Content Moderation, Safety, Reports, and Case Data

Qrrier may process shipment photos, listing details, chat messages, reports, support cases, account activity, and related metadata using automated and manual review tools to maintain safety, prevent fraud, enforce moderation policies, provide support, preserve marketplace integrity, and comply with legal obligations. This processing may help detect attempts to share phone numbers, emails, social handles, QR codes, payment links, or other off-platform contact or payment instructions; unsafe, abusive, sexual, or threatening content; illegal activity; prohibited or restricted items; fraud; scams; and violations of our Terms.

When you submit a report or support case, we store relevant user IDs (including the reporter and, where applicable, the reported user), the messages or content referenced, report details, moderation decisions, and case history. We use this information to investigate, respond to, and follow up on reports and support matters, and to improve safety and platform policies.

3. Identity Verification and ID Processing

Identity verification is optional. Qrrier only collects government-issued ID information if you voluntarily choose to submit it for optional verification and trust-badge purposes. You can create an account and use the core platform — including posting shipments, posting trips, sending offers, chatting, paying, and carrying — without submitting a government ID. We collect and process identification documents only when a user voluntarily submits them through the verification flow and consents at the point of upload.

  • Purpose. We use identification documents solely to confirm a member's identity and help build trust in our peer-to-peer shipping marketplace. We do not use them for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
  • Automated processing and AI providers. To verify user identity and help prevent fraud, Qrrier may collect and process government-issued identification documents through automated verification systems and third-party artificial intelligence service providers. These providers may receive and analyze uploaded identification documents, images, and related information for verification purposes. At the time of this Policy, Qrrier may utilize services such as Google Gemini and other service providers for automated identity-verification processing.
  • Authorized access. Authorized Qrrier personnel may access verification records when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security investigations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, customer support, or platform safety. Other members only ever see a "Verified" badge — never the document itself.
  • Storage and protection. Identification documents are stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest. We use third-party cloud infrastructure providers as data processors to host this data on our behalf.
  • Retention and deletion. We retain identification documents while your account is active. If you delete your account or withdraw a verification request, your identification document and related verification data will be deleted within 30 days. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@qrrier.com.

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Platform.
  • Verify identity and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity.
  • Moderate content and messages, detect unsafe, abusive, sexual, illegal, prohibited, restricted, or fraudulent material, and investigate reports, support cases, and Terms violations.
  • Match Senders with Carriers and facilitate communications.
  • Facilitate payments, on-ramp transactions, escrow funding, blockchain transfers, payouts, refunds, and dispute handling.
  • Verify delivery completion through delivery codes, protect transaction security, and detect or prevent unauthorized access or brute-force attempts.
  • Generate and deliver in-app notifications and transactional communications about your account, transactions, and the Services.
  • Send service updates and—where permitted—marketing communications.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

5. How We Share Information

  • Between users: limited profile and trip details are shared between Senders and Carriers to enable a delivery.
  • Service providers. We share information with providers acting on our behalf, including:
    • Cloud infrastructure, database, storage, and email delivery providers that host the Platform and send transactional emails.
    • Identity-verification and AI providers that process uploaded identification documents (see Section 3).
    • Payment processors and on-ramp providers that facilitate card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and stablecoin transactions, refunds, and related payment services.
    • Wallet-connection providers (such as Reown AppKit and WalletConnect) that enable you to connect external cryptocurrency wallets and interact with supported blockchain networks. These providers may receive wallet addresses, transaction data, device information, and related technical information necessary to establish connections, facilitate transactions, and maintain platform functionality.
    • Blockchain infrastructure, bridge, and routing providers (including but not limited to LI.FI) that may receive wallet addresses, transaction information, blockchain network data, and other information necessary to process, route, bridge, or facilitate blockchain transactions.
    • Social sign-in providers (such as Google) if you choose to sign in through them. Qrrier may receive information associated with your account, such as your name, email address, profile image, unique account identifier, and other information you authorize the provider to share. This information may be used to create and maintain your account, authenticate your identity, improve security, and provide access to the Services.
    • Customer support and communications vendors.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Qrrier, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Wallets, Payouts, and On-Chain Activity

Qrrier collects and stores cryptocurrency wallet information you provide, including wallet addresses, preferred blockchain networks, payout preferences, supported digital assets, and related account information. This information may be used to facilitate transactions, process payouts, support escrow functionality, prevent fraud, investigate disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain platform operations. Information written to a public blockchain (including wallet addresses and transactions) is, by its nature, permanent and outside Qrrier's control.

7. Notifications and Transactional Communications

Qrrier may generate, deliver, and store notifications relating to account activity, transactions, escrow events, security alerts, delivery-code events (including code generation, successful verification, failed attempts, and lockouts), disputes, identity verification, platform updates, customer support communications, and other service-related matters. Notification records may be retained to provide account history, improve user experience, investigate issues, support dispute resolution, comply with legal obligations, and maintain platform security.

Qrrier may also send transactional communications relating to account registration, authentication, login verification (including magic links), password recovery, identity verification, security notifications, transaction activity, dispute updates, customer support matters, legal notices, and other service-related communications. Qrrier may utilize third-party service providers to deliver such communications on its behalf.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect cross-border transfers.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and applicable legal requirements.

Identification documents: retained while your account is active. If you delete your account or withdraw a verification request, your identification document and related verification data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing.

  • EU/EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by the CCPA.
  • Other regions: additional or equivalent rights may apply under local law.

You can exercise these rights, including access, correction, or deletion of your identification documents and verification data, by contacting us at privacy@qrrier.com, or by deleting your account from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete account) or via www.qrrier.com/delete-account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and certain information may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, or to enforce our Terms.

You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages, and adjust browser permissions (location, notifications) in your browser settings at any time.

Public blockchain data. Information written to a public blockchain (including wallet addresses and transactions) is, by its nature, permanent and outside Qrrier's control. We cannot delete, modify, or alter data on a public blockchain.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qrrier disclaims all liability for unauthorized access to or loss, alteration, or disclosure of your information caused by events outside our reasonable control, including security incidents at third-party providers, attacks on blockchains, wallet apps, or your own devices.

12. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us at privacy@qrrier.com so we can delete it.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services, including self-custodial wallet apps, wallet-connection providers (such as WalletConnect and Reown AppKit), identity-verification and AI providers, payment processors and on-ramp providers, blockchain infrastructure, bridge and routing providers (such as LI.FI), social sign-in providers (such as Google), and cloud hosting, database, storage, and email delivery providers. These third parties have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party, and we encourage you to review their policies before using their services.

14. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "do not track" signals. Because there is no industry standard for responding to such signals, the Platform does not currently respond to them.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
