Qrrier Cookie Policy
Last Updated: June 25, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site recognize your device and store information about your preferences or past actions. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, web beacons, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs).
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Qrrier uses two categories of cookies and similar technologies: essential and analytics. We do not run advertising or marketing trackers at this time.
2.1 Essential Cookies (always on)
These cookies and local storage entries are necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off. They include items that let you stay signed in, maintain your session, remember your cookie choice, and keep the site secure. Without these, services you have asked for cannot be provided.
2.2 Analytics Cookies (with your consent)
When you accept analytics cookies, we use the following services to understand how Qrrier is used so we can fix bugs, improve the product, and measure marketplace performance:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — provided by Google LLC. Sets cookies including
_gaand_ga_<ID>(typical retention: up to 2 years). Collects anonymized device and usage data, page views, route changes, and marketplace conversion events (for example, sign-up, shipment posted, offer sent, payment completed, delivery completed). IP addresses are anonymized. We use Google's Consent Mode v2 so analytics tags default to "denied" until you opt in. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on. - Microsoft Clarity — provided by Microsoft Corporation. Sets cookies including
_clckand_clsk(typical retention: 1 year and 1 day, respectively). Captures aggregated usage data and session recordings and heatmaps showing anonymized mouse, scroll, click, and navigation behavior. We configure Clarity to mask sensitive fields and content by default, including identity verification pages, payment pages, wallet connection flows, delivery-code entry, chat/messaging, and profile fields containing personal information (see Section 4). Microsoft's privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
2.3 Marketing Cookies (not in use)
Qrrier does not currently use advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising trackers. The "Marketing" category in our preferences dialog is shown as disabled for transparency. If we ever introduce such trackers, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent before they load.
3. How We Use Cookies
- Authentication and session management
- Security and fraud prevention
- Remembering basic preferences (such as your cookie choice)
- With your consent: product analytics, error diagnostics, session recordings and heatmaps, and marketplace funnel measurement (visitor → sign-up → shipment posted → offer sent → payment completed → delivery completed)
4. Session Recordings, Heatmaps, and Masked Content
Session recordings and heatmaps captured by Microsoft Clarity are reconstructed playback of anonymized interactions — they are not video recordings of your camera or screen. We mask or exclude sensitive content from these recordings, including: government-issued ID documents and identity verification uploads, delivery verification codes (PINs), wallet addresses, payment and card information, in-app chat and message content, profile fields containing personal information (name, email, phone), and password and recovery inputs.
5. Third-Party Storage
Some essential storage may also be set by third-party service providers we rely on to operate the Platform, such as our authentication provider and wallet-connection providers. These providers act on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies.
6. Managing Your Cookie Choices
You can update your cookie preferences at any time:
You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or prevent parts of the Platform from working.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data
- Firefox: Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
7. Legal Basis
For users in the EU/EEA and UK, essential cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the Platform. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) are placed only on the basis of your consent and you can withdraw consent at any time using the controls above.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
