Get Paid to Fly: Offset Your Trip With Spare Luggage Space
Looking for travel hacks to fly cheaper? If you already have a trip booked and space left in your bag, you can carry items for people on Qrrier and put the payment toward the cost of your journey.
How to post a trip on Qrrier
- Create a free Qrrier account.
- Post your trip: where you are flying from and to, and your travel date.
- Browse delivery requests on your route, or wait for senders to contact you.
- Make an offer, agree the details in chat, and only accept items you are comfortable carrying.
- The sender pays into escrow before you travel; you hand the item over at the destination.
How the money works
You keep 95% of the agreed delivery price, and the shipper pays a 15% fee on top.
Example: for an agreed delivery price of $50, you receive $47.50 and the shipper pays $57.50.
What you can and can't carry
Only carry legal, permitted items. Never carry:
- Weapons
- Drugs
- Flammable or hazardous materials
- Cash
- Counterfeit goods
- Anything airline or customs rules ban
Inspect every item at hand-off
Check every item when it is handed to you, before you pack it. Never carry a sealed package you haven't inspected, and refuse anything you are not comfortable with.
Getting paid
Payment is held in escrow while you travel. You are paid in USDC to your connected wallet after the recipient shares their 4-digit delivery code with you at hand-off.
Airline and customs rules still apply
Airline baggage rules and the customs declaration rules of both countries apply to everything in your luggage. Check them before you accept an item, and declare items where required.
